Jean Morrison Moves to California
Jean Morrison has packed up his stuff and moved to California after living the first 30 years of his life in his homeland of South Africa. It has been a long and arduous process for the 30 year old South African rocker who applied for his American green card back in 2008. Due to various policy changes made by the USCIS, this made the process much longer than it had to be. When we asked Jean what he thought about finally being issued his Visa he responded “I was 24 when I applied for this bloody thing! I was told that I’d be in the US in 6 months time. I kept selling all my stuff, couldn’t open up new contracts and couldn’t get into any relationships because I was under the impression that I’d be leaving soon. This was the case for six very long years” Although it’s been a tough few years for Morrison, the future looks bright. Jean will be based in San Diego, a mere two hour drive from arguably the biggest music city in the world, Los Angeles. Who can complain about that right?
